Jennifer Pirrone, A.A.S. serves as a Program Manager within the Office of Clinical Research Education and Collaboration Outreach (OCRECO) for the Opportunities for Collaborative Research with the NIH Intramural Research Program (U01), NIH Summer Course in Clinical and Translational Research, Strategic Partnerships, Sabbatical in Clinical Research Management, Bench-to-Bedside Program Funding and Logistics, and NIH Director’s Challenge Innovation Award Program. She also serves as the OIR Guide Liaison, COR of the NIH Altum Contract, and Staff Assistant for OCRECO. Ms. Pirrone received an associate’s degree in business from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in Martinsburg, WV. Having started her career at the NIH in 2001, Ms. Pirrone has extensive administrative experience across several ICs. Most notably, she served as an Administrative Officer for the Nursing Department at the Clinical Center from 2011 to 2016, and as the Executive Special Assistant for the Office of Clinical Research within the Office of the Director from 2016 to 2023. She brings her robust administrative skills and clinical knowledge to OCRECO.
