Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research
The Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (IPPCR) course is based on a curriculum on how to effectively conduct clinical research. Many academic medical centers lack a formal course in training for clinical research, and investigators have relied on mentors to learn how to conduct clinical trials. This course formalizes that instruction. The recommended textbook is Principles and Practice of Clinical Research, Fourth Edition (2018), edited by John I. Gallin, Frederick P. Ognibene and Laura Lee Johnson, published by Academic Press/Elsevier.
